(Credit: KDKA) Elizabeth Township, PA - Stories like this make me smile from ear to ear. It's not everyday law-abiding citizens get a fair story in the media. And this story stands out for several reasons. Let's start with the home owner. Korean War veteran Fred Ricciuti. A mild mannered elderly man, whom after serving his country in the Korean War, he kept his service weapon. It is unclear if that weapon was a standard issue M1-Garrand or the iconic 1911. Either way, we salute Mr. Ricciuti for defending his home and his right to protect that home and his wife.Sadly, the intruder was a familiar face for Fred. 25-year-old Raymond Hiles broke into the home after falling onto hard times, according to Mr. Ricciuti. It wasn't until after the the police apprehended Hiles, was he identified by Fred. As a gun owner, this is the story we love to read. A War Vet, who laid down his weapon decades ago, proved you're never too old to protect yourself and your loved ones. Gun laws don't protect Fred, or anyone else looking to lawfully protect themselves from desperate criminals. It's great to see what a weapon, in the right hands, in the right moment, can mean the difference between protecting yourself or becoming a victim.See the full story here.
The 2012 Mexican Debate proved that we Latinos are genetically predisposed to adding this ridiculous flare to everything we do. We speak loud, we play our music loud, and we live loud.
This flare runs its way up through to our politics. Take the 2012 Mexican debate that has become quite the web sensation. Not because of the contenders or their crappy rhetoric. But for the assistant/Vanna White-esque box carrying Playboy Playmate.
Millions of web junkies went stiff at the site of a woman with real curves, in a dress practically spray painted onto her body. A body that showcases what we has Latinos take for granted.
Our never-ending supply of gorgeous women.
So, without further-ado, enjoy this gross display of sexual appeal by Mexican hotness cartels. Welcome Julia Orayen into your heart.
And Spank Bank.
Las Vegas - Most stories I feature are either incredibly strange, hilarious, or sad. This one strikes gold by hitting all three of those marks. A patron of 'Heart Attack Grill' in Las Vegas nearly lost her life this week after consuming the Triple Bypass Burger, smoking a cigarette, and chugging a Buttermilk Milkshake. Yes, you read that right. This woman obviously had a vendetta against her body for some reason. Either way, during her 5 million calorie meal, her heart decided it had enough and tapped out. Literally. The woman was taken to an area hospital by paramedics. The owner of the establishment says although this is the second person to succumb to his ridiculous menu offering, she is recovering in the hospital and said to be in good spirits. We are positive this isn't the customer's first encounter with a catastrophe on a plate. Click here to read the full story.
Right now, I'm smiling. Not for any other reason than the fact that inventive people with drive are creating huge sums of revenue in today's market. One more company has perfected it's appeal so much, that Mark Zuckerberg stepped in...and bought them out. Facebook has purchased the uber popular Instagram photo sharing app. For $1 Billion. Your eyes are not fooling you. I said $1 Billion U.S. Sources state the app will remain a separate from Facebook as no integration into the current Facebook app is forecasted. That doesn't mean it's not a possibility. Just means that for now, you will continue to use Instagram as usual. Instragram has 27 million registered users. On iOS alone. They haven't got the numbers in yet for the Android platform, which is believed to be reason Zuckerberg wanted to get in on the action as soon as possible. According to the source article, the payment will be part cash and part stock in Facebook, which is brilliant as Facebook is projected to only grow over the next 5 years.
The guys over at Murkin TV - Shawn Pawlikowski and Brody Griffin show you how Florida Boys get it done. According to the AA-Fishing.com, there are many species of catfish and plenty methods to catch them. They enjoy ponds, streams, lakes and rivers. Some of them, called Walking Catfish, spend a some time on dry land. Crazy! If you're lucky enough to catch a big giant catfish, good luck. They put up one hell of a fight. Their sizes range from 2 to well over 100lbs. So you better be ready. If you'd like more information about Florida Catfish click here.
Lisa Robin Kelly - Before and After What is arguably one of the most successful TV shows of the 2000's has featured many up and coming Hollywood stars. Lisa Robin Kelly was thought to be one of them. However, her recent arrest mug shot has shown time was not on her side. Her good years might be long gone. The 42-year-old hasn't done much acting since being replaced on the show in 2005, and maybe we know why. According to the police report, Kelly was charged with Felony Spousal Abuse and held on $50,000 bail which is pretty serious. TMZ reports she claims she is innocent and her spouse (who no one seems to know) had injured himself. Either way, she looks pretty rough. More proof that the glamorous life can take its tool on anyone.
The male staff here at InfoSack would like to wish everyone a Happy National Cleavage Day! It's probably our favorite time of year. Almost feels like leagalized sexual harassment. Obviously in jest, this faux holiday is celebrated globally and its roots are traced back to many years ago in a land far, far away.2002. Seems the company WonderBra, decided to create its own holiday, much the way Cinco de Mayo was created by beer companies. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with it from our standpoint. So enjoy this collection of cleavage shots to celebrate National Cleavage Day!
Not having seen the entire game, it's hard to know whether or not this was the straw that broke the camel's back, or a girl going on a beating rampage for no reason whatsoever. Most contact sports like football, hockey, and soccer, have an altercation at some point. This is nothing new. Hell, sometimes it's the parents on the sidelines that get into a heated battle over who's little tike kicked who. However, this video is making the media rounds because of Trayvon Martin we all know it. Here we have a soccer game. A girl gets tripped, she looses her shit and start whaling on the opposing girl who probably tripped her by accident. However, I am sure the media will find a way to twist this into some racial issue. They will say one of the following: - The girl was angry over Trayvon Martin's death and beat up that girl because of it.
- The girl felt threatened on the field, surrounded by others and reacted this way. She's a monster. Yada yada yada.
Either way, this beat-down shouldn't be considered anything more than that. In sports, people get angry. Simple.
Sanford - It seems this case is being handled in a horrendous and egregious way. From the media to the police, everyone involved with the information linked to Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman are choosing sides. And distancing the public from the truth.
Images of people who are not Trayvon have sparked outrage as groups are perpetuating racism. Old images of George Zimmerman from his arrest show a cold blooded man's face. When this is truly not the case.
Trayvon may have been suspended from school. He may have dabbled in the smoking of marijuana. But none of that mattered in relation to this case.
The issue here is the fact that Zimmerman overstepped his boundaries, initiated contact with someone in a seemingly threatening manner and that person reacted. As any person would.
Zimmerman's attorney claims he sustained head and face trauma and as you can see from the video, the damage is not apparent. See for yourself. There is no blood stains. He doesn't seem to need the assistance of the deputies. After a severe beating, these things would be evident.
Millions are outraged over the tragic death of Trayvon Martin and the handling of this case. Why not show your support with one of these great T-shirts.
It's time to wear a shirt that means something
