With print media fighting to stay afloat, it only makes sense that they would toss their highly skilled edited and proofing personnel for a free spell checker.

This has proven to change the course of many of my own published articles, and forced me to proof my work to ensure the spell/grammar check software hasn't sabotaged my article.

The Charlotte Observer should defniitely heed my advice in this area to prevent software caused Freudian slips such as this.
