NBC only gave the show a two-season run before cancelling it due to sliding ratings. After a strategic move to Friday night, NBC primed the show to be sold to a network that could handle the risque content without affecting advertisement revenue.
TNT had the balls to take on this show and let the story unfold the way writers originally intended. Which worked out perfectly for all parties involved. They were nominated for Screen Actors Guild award.
Viewers will be happy to know the show will pick up where it left off, starting January 17th, 2012. Adams and Sherman are back, along with that douchebag Dewey to deliver the one of the grittiest dramas on television.
