Prosper, Texas - Residents of this small town probably thought they were on some sort of prank show when police officers did the exact opposite of what they normally do to drivers.

Prosper, Texas officers have been doing just that this holiday season. Rewarding good drivers who use turn signals, adhere to traffic devices, and wear their seatbelt, with $10 gift cards.

"We wanted to give back to the community to reinforce those safe driving habits," Prosper assistant police chief Gary McHone told AOL Autos.
