Things are always a little random in my life, and this summer when I was told that I would meet these four guys from Utah, I didn’t really think much of it. They were going around Florida, on tour. My friend asked me if they could all stay at my house, which I had just moved into. At first I wasn’t sure if it was the best idea, but I went along with it. I met them down at Backbooth downtown, they were playing with my friends from the Band Called Bellows. I was shocked. They were incredible, full of energy and creativity. Their show was amazing. I was instantly a fan. They’re music was different, but reminiscent of that music that you love to love.

We hung out the next few days, watching them play music, making food, going on daytime adventures, and an epic throwback hip-hop dance party. We even made Tres Leches cake (delicious by the way). They were super down to earth, helpful, and overall just great guys. They definitely made an impact, and I’m so happy that I got to meet them. What I loved the most about them was their talent and stage presence. Whether they were playing at the bar in front of a huge crowd, or at a house party, they gave 100 percent.

Well now, is my chance to give them a little support, because they more than deserve it. They are trying to provide us with new and exciting music, but as we all know, this is a hard business. The world needs music, so why not help make it happen? They have a campaign on pledge music called “I worked my thighs for Eyes Lips Eyes.” They’re trying to get some support to create their new album. It’s really easy to become a part of it. Just log onto http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/eyeslipseyes, and select how much you want to pledge. Of course, you’re wondering what’s in it for you? They’re in turn giving things ranging from advance digital copies of their CD’s to the opportunity to go skydiving with Tony, Caleb, Aaron, and Thomas. Then you can say you worked your thighs for Eyes Lips Eyes!

You can check out their music on Spotify, Itunes, or www.eyeslipseyes.com
