So there you are. Perhaps an EMT, Fire Fighter, CNA, Paramedic, or just a visitor at the hospital, and you think "Wow I could do that!"
Think again bitch! Let's start with school. Oh yeah, the classes that have nothing to do with nursing and you have to pass with an A. Are you freaking kidding me?! Then comes along that piece of shit counselor that tells you you missed a credit and have to repeat a class you took in junior high school. I mean really!
So you get through this and the day comes for the Boards! You sweat your ass off waiting the results. Think about this while sweating. Do I really want to work 12 hour shifts in someone's butt hole? Do I really want to forcefully pull apart the legs of a morbitly obese woman and dig deep to find that Waldo is not easy to find? Like really?
I know your thinking "hell no!" But you're dumb enough to believe that this is what techs are for. Sorry! None scheduled that day.
So Congratulations. You are now a Registered Nurse. Do not get me wrong I love my job. Stay with me, give me some feedback. I have plenty good stories to share.
For now, enjoy a classic skit on MadTV about a terrible nurse.
