CompUSA in Altamonte has been through a rollercoaster of ownership and business issues in the past. As of 2009, they bounced back and now offer some irresistable deals on computer related gear that you need.

Right now, this 19" monitor is selling for $69.99 after an instant rebate and a $20 rebate. So if you're ok with paying $89.00 up front and wait for the $20 rebate in the mail, this is a great deal for you.

Click on the monitor for further details.

I've had a head cold for the past week and it sucks. So I visited my local Walgreens and stumbled across something pretty awesome. Their store brand vitamins are on sale/BOGO and I'm not sure how much longer that's going on.

And in this case, size doesn't matter. All of their sizes are buy one, get one free.

I stocked up on Vitamin C and B12. Definitely a great price for the quantity. Looks like all the Store-Brand vitamins are included. Everything from Vitamin A  to Zinc. However, I didn't see an abundance of different vitamins. Only the key ones were there, which is no big deal. If you need some rarely mentioned vitamin, it can be found two feet away in the rack of other vitamins.
Til next time!

This is a topic I could discuss all day. As a photographer, it angers me to see tons of people out there blowing $1000 or more on cameras they will never full utilize, nor take the lessons needed to operate them to their maximum potential.

Most point and shoot cameras these days are so advanced, they can take amazing party pics, fun baby pics, and blow your camera phone out of the water.

The main component is the optics. Sure, the new iphone has decent optics on it from factory. However the fact that the last layer of optics are exposed to the elements, scratching, you dropping it in a drunken rage, only reinforces the idea that you're better off having an actual camera on hand for pics you care about.

The processor is faster, the optics are more robust, and the images are just better. Your camera on that phone has to share electronics with a ton of other things like signal receivers, antenna's, and other phone stuff which don't allow for much flexibility.

Just do yourself a favor, buy even a simple point and shoot. You won't regret it.

Office max is having a great sale this week on cameras. Pass by and look at their selection. Support local stores. Save on the shipping.

Amurrika!

Every Sunday, the Orlando Sentinel is packed with coupons, weekly fliers, and ploys to get you to go shopping locally.

Stores are desperate for business. And you can tell.

Right now, quality products can be had for cheap, and if you have kids, you're definitely spread thin this holiday season.

So here's the first of many "heads-up" posts you'll see from us.

Just yesterday, I was sitting at my grandparents, and saw some pretty good deals wives/girlfriends/daughters or loving friends (wink) might want to consider gifting.

JCPenny is having a good deal on these decent looking watches from J. Ferrar/ XOXO. I'm a big watch guy and I'm sure these aren't top-notch watches at $24.99. However they could be on par with Fossil and similarly priced watches.

Which says a lot since Fossil has survived the pricing wars of watches over the years and even ventured into other markets including apparel with incredible success.

Once you open the mini catalog, watches from many reputable makers can be found up to 25% off. And these watches are a great alternative to wear daily if you have very expensive watches you don't want to bash while turning a wrench or play fighting with your kids.

Also, if you are a Deltona resident, you may or may not have noticed a JCP Express location on Saxon Blvd, near I-4.

After some digging, I also found another location in Delray Beach and basically allows customers to order from JCPenny's website and have it shipped directly to the Express store at no extra cost, saving both JCP and you, money.

Brilliant!
