You would think in this day and age of iPhones and satellite technology, catastrophes like this are completely preventable.

Think again.

The Delta Mariner, a huge ocean freight vessel, took out over 200 feet of the Kentucky Lake Bridge. Luckily, no drivers were on the road when the accident occurred.

There is no word from the Coast Guard on the investigation, or if they have found a cause for this ridiculous catastrophe.

The owners of boat have stated they were transporting Rocket Components to Cape Canaveral. So, once again, Florida is the victim in all this.
