Mobile Meth Lab Explodes, Killing Man 01/04/2012
![]() Clifford Ellison - January 3, 2012 Lakeland, FL - Polk county is known as the "Meth Capital of the World." We are not kidding. Google it for yourself. It seems other areas of the country were trying out oust Polk County from their Meth Throne. But their attempts were futile. Clifford Ellison, 36, was killed when his mobile meth lab exploded while he was driving with his genius cohort, 26-year-old Jerek L. Evens. They were mixing chemicals on the road and may have realized their measurements were off. Witnesses stated there was a commotion in the vehicle just before the crash. Worst-friend-ever, Evens ran away from the scene of the crash. Leaving Ellison to die in the vehicle. When police arrived on the scene, Ellison had succumbed to his injuries from glass shards after the "Shake and Bake" methamphetamine bottle detonated. These type of accidents are why Hazard Material Police Units quarantine homes containing meth labs as the materials are extremely dangerous. Police have not decided whether they are pressing charges against Jerek Evens. They should consider pressing charges against his parents for naming him Jerek Evens instead of Derrick Evans or Jarred Evans. Read more here. Add Comment _Polk City- An unidentified woman was caught on camera stealing an entire box full of toys meant for needy kids. Camera footage shows this douchebag walked into a Hungry Howies Pizza in Polk City, Saturday, looked around, and snagged the whole box. What's sad is she probably could have gotten information about the Toys for Tots program, and received those same gifts for free, as they are intended. Now she has police searching for her. What an idiot! Winter Haven - Theodore Reese, 44 , was so obliterated he honed into a patrol car like a fly to a bug zapper. So his D.U.I was well deserved. I almost feel bad for the guy because he wears glasses as that "Mustache Ride" face you typically see on a man at the end of his rope. Unless he was a cop himself, then it's standard issue. Reese's impact with the deputy's cruiser was so hard, he bent the county issue'd AR-15 weapon located in the truck. And those are usually S&W M&P 15 rifles so the county is definitely going to take on quite a bill for Theo when he gets to court. Just look at that face. $10 says someone in booking asked him "Theo...c'mon man...do the Truffle Shuffle!!" Lakeland Office Gravely Wounded in Shooting 12/19/2011
![]() Officer Arnulfo Crispin _Lakeland - Eighteen month veteran Arnulfo Crispin, was on his regular patrol when he came across three suspicious individuals near Crystal Grove Drive. He stopped to question them and at that point, the details become foggy, but what is certain is Crispin was gravely wounded. He managed to call for backup, and was found unresponsive by officers rushing to the scene. This is something no officer ever wants to deal with but is trained as a professional to handle. We can't emphasize enough how much law enforcement officers are just the sheepherders in our society. Taking out frustrations on them, attacking them, or trying to kill them isn't how you change the law. As a society, we are slipping into a "Police State" because the politicians at the helm are dictating more and more regulation and we are letting it happen. The Penal System is a huge business now and it's obvious the statistics aren't lying when you see men in jail for even the silliest of crimes, that don't justify our tax dollars to keep them locked up. Just today, Reuters released a story about how almost one third of America's young adults have been arrested. That is a staggering number. Now, when an office stumbles upon a group of thugs, whom he clearly and correctly observed as being up to no good, they should have admitted to any wrong doing and suffered whatever little consequence they would have faced. They turned what could have been a simple infraction, a possession charge, or driving with a suspended license fine, into an attempted homicide of an officer of the law. This is the worse possible scenario in any case. And an idiotic decision. This tragedy was completely avoidable and now the life of a young law enforcement officer is in danger, as are the lives of the young men involved in this. The mother of Kyle Williams was able to negotiate him turning himself in. Obviously an effort to prevent any sort of rash situation or retaliation on the part of the police. Information on the two other men involved has not been released. First Post! 12/19/2011
